At the end of 2014, the company finished to construct the terminal’s cargo berth. Within the time limit and despite severe weather conditions, on completing concrete works and installing a track for a ship loader, Gidrotechnologiya Ltd. (Mykolayiv) specialists completed works.
The berthing facility with 105 m length and 18 m breadth enables to load a non-self-propelled vessel (90 m length) accompanying by POSS-115 project tug. NIBULON will install the ship loader with a capacity of 500 tons per hour made by TELESTACK to perform these operations.
It should be mentioned that such NIBULON’s building achievements are constantly acknowledged at the national level. In particular, in 2011, as part of the Ukrainian National Marine Rating, NIBULON became a prize-winner for the category “Golden Berth”; in 2012 NIBULON was the only prize-winner in this category, as the company that constructs new berths in Ukraine.
At present the specialists continue works at the construction site. Oleksandr Litvinov, an engineer in construction supervision at NIBULON’s capital construction department, says that the first mooring dolphins have been tested, and the specialists are completing works on the territory vertical planning. When the old facilities are dismounted, the site will be ready for the construction of the terminal’s future facilities.
