International payment service PayPal, which allows customers to pay bills and purchase at online stores, has ceased serving residents of the Crimea.
“It was a very difficult decision for us, but unfortunately we currently cannot provide services to clients in the Crimea”, – states the letter of the company sent to the Crimean customers on Friday night.
PayPal is a part of the American company eBay. According to the official website of the service, its services are used by nearly 100 million people in 190 countries around the world. PayPal works with 25 world currencies.
